I obtained both the Bachelor of Science (B Sc) and Master of Science (M Sc) degrees in Mathematics from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh in the years 1993 and 1994 respectively. I achieved the Master of Philosophy (M Phil) in the Theory of Relativity from the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh in 2008. Presently I am pursuing my Doctoral Program in Electrical and Computer Engineering on Optimal Control with State Constraints in the Faculty of Engineering, University of Porto (FEUP), Portugal.

I started my professional activities as a Lecturer in Mathematics in the Department of Business Management at Nizampur College, Chittagong, Bangladesh in 2000. After a few months, I joined as a Lecturer in Mathematics in the Department of Computer and communication Engineering at International Islamic University Chittagong (IIUC), Bangladesh in 2000. In the same year, I joined as a Lecturer in Mathematics in the Department of Mathematics at Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Bangladesh. In 2002, I joined as a Lecturer in Mathematics in Mathematics Discipline, Khulna University, Bangladesh. In 2003, I joined as an Assistant Professor of Mathematics in the same Discipline of Khulna University. Currently (now on study leave) I am serving as an Associate Professor of Mathematics in the Mathematics Discipline of Khulna University, Bangladesh.
