Meeting Aims and Objectives

ECCO XIX - CO2006 aims at bringing together researchers in the Combinatorial Optimization field to present and discuss the more recent advances in theory and applications.

The conference objectives include:

  • exchanging results and experience in solving real-world problems by combinatorial methods
  • searching for adequate models and efficient solution methods for the above mentioned problems
  • establishing new scientific contacts and organising international research groups working on close topics
  • attracting attention of the society to solving real-world problems of combinatorial optimisation.

Topics of the conference include, but are not limited to:

approximation algorithms, cutting and packing, exact algorithms, graphs, heuristics, integer linear programming, location, logistics, manufacturing, meta-heuristics, networks, routing, scheduling and general combinatorial optimisation.
