This website will provide all the information considered important to the realization of the Master Thesis "Route Optimization for Solid Waste Collection".
This thesis will be developed by student Mariana Magalhães, from Master in Electrical and Computers Engineering at FEUP and under the supervision of Prof. José António Soeiro.

Objectives
The aim of this master thesis is to find a good solution in route optimization for solid waste collection. This solution will be obtained through a selected method.
To obtain the final solution, the author will choose a method among all the possible identified ones. The selected method has to be able to provide a satisfactory solution. After the selection of this method, we have to define an algorithm that will provide the problem solution.
