About me: my name is Miguel Amável Pinheiro and I'm currently a student in the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto. I enrolled in 2005 in the Integrated Master in Electric and Computers Engineering, choosing later to take a major in Telecommunications and a specialization in Multimedia Communications.
On the autumn of 2008, I studied in Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden under the Erasmus program.
|
After that and already taking courses from the Multimedia Communications specialization, I began to seek some project in my field of studies. On a visit to INESC (Institute for Systems and Computer Engineering of Porto), I met Pedro Carvalho who’s taking a PhD in the institute.
Soon, I've been proposed to work on a Master thesis that consisted on Multi Object Tracking. Given this proposal, and also my increasing interest on the subject, I decided to accept this challenge. |
