The Footbridge Award 2008 , which are sponsored by Bridge design & engineering, have been presented at the Footbridge 2008 conference.

The winners have been chosen by a panel of independent judges who will assess all entries on their merits, and will award a total of six prizes in two categories: aesthetics and technology. Within these categories three prizes
have been given, one for each of three sub-groups: short, medium-span and long-span footbridges.
