In the last decades, the modern aircrafts are becoming more and more electric based
from the generation, distribution systems and obviously electrical loads point of view. As
a consequence, electrical machines, electrical drives, power converters are the leading
role in this evolution of the aircraft design. The aim of the proposed special session is to
collect the scientific and technical experiences in this field, in order to define state of art
and trends on the “more electrical aircraft”. Topic examples of interest include, but are
not limited to:

Full electric aircraft
Electrical machine and drives for primary and secondary flight actuation surfaces
Embedded electric start/generator for turbines
Power electronic converter for aircraft applications
Power energy distribution systems in aircraft structures
Fault tolerance and diagnosis techniques in electrical components for aircraft
applications
Electromagnetic compatibility in aircraft applications
