The main purpose of the Building Physics Laboratory - LFC is to study the hygrothermal behaviour of building materials and components, as regards their adequacy to different hygrothermal requests, their durability, their energetic efficiency and the improvement of comfort.

This site of the Building Physics Laboratory - LFC presents its organisation and its place within the FEUP framework, as well as the human and financial resources it involves. It also focuses on activities such as research, technical and scientific advice and knowledge dissemination.
