New versions of the Program Guidelines and the corresponding 2009-2010 Annual Annex were posted in Documents > Decisions.

The rules for the elective course Special Topics were posted under PROGRAMME STRUCTURE > Electives. This new course opens the possibility of crediting teaching activities to PDEEC students.

On September 24, 2009 will be held the reception to the new PDEEC students. The PDEEC Scientific Committee is very pleased to invite all the students to attend this meeting. It will be held in the room I-105, 16:00-18:00, September 24, 2009.

Academic Year
The academic year of 2009/2010 starts in the weak of Setember 21, 2009, with a reception to the new students. On the week starting on September 28, strats the course work.

Applications for 2009/2010
For the 2009-2010 academic year, the application deadline is August 28th, 2009. However, the application process is permanently opened through the academic year with monthly evaluations. For further information go to www.fe.up.pt/pdeec. The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the research Institutes associated with the Doctoral Program offers a limited number of grants to support the PhD students.
