Welcome to the ...
DSIE’11 - 6th Doctoral Symposium on Informatics Engineering
The 2011 Doctoral Symposium is the follow-up of a series of conferences that started in 2005, with the purpose to provide Doctoral Students with competences, new abilities, acquaintance and experience on scientific writing and assessment approaches. It’s a part of the MSR-“Methodologies for Scientific Research” Course of the Doctoral Program (ProDEI) of the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
The 6th edition will be open to endorse the study of academic papers in generic fields of Informatics Engineering and Computer Science. We hope to provide opportunities in showing on going technological research, gathering doctoral students to listen to professional researchers, professors, academics and experts in how to enrich their work and promote experience and knowledge sharing that may perhaps conduct the build up of thesis content. The DSIE’11 will be held at the 27th and 28th January of 2011 at the Faculdade de Engenharia, Universidade do Porto, Porto, Portugal.
