How to get to Vilamoura

The nearest airport to Vilamoura is the Faro International Airport (about 25 km distance). There are many daily flights to/from a wide variety of European destinations.


How to get to Vilamoura from Faro

On your arrival at Faro Airport, you can take a bus to Vilamoura for only 3.75€. There are cheap taxi transfers from the airport to Vilamoura. Four-seat taxis are available for about 27€. There are also six-seat taxis for 34€ to 40€. Note that there isn’t any convenient train station to take you from Faro to Vilamoura.


How to Get to Vilamoura from Lisbon

There are two convenient ways to get to Vilamoura from Lisbon, Portugal’s capital city. From Lisbon Airport, you can take a taxi or the metro to Gare do Oriente (train station), a bus and train station that will connect you to Vilamoura in Algarve, Portugal. If you want to take a bus, get tickets for Renex buses. The bus trip to Vilamoura will take 3h30, including a 15-minute stop over.

If you prefer the train, you can take the train that operates twice daily via Lisbon Entrecampos (train station) to Algarve (Faro destination). You will have to exit at Loulé train station and take a taxi to Vilamoura.
