In parallel with the Technical and Scientific Program, a full range of social activities will be offered to Delegates and Accompanying Persons during all days of the Conference. Most of these will be organised by a competent local travel agency to be associated with the IRF'2013 conference:
The Conference Secretariat will be open on Sunday 23 June, from 15:00 to 18:30, for registration and delivery of documentation to delegates. During this period, an Early-Bird Reception with drinks and refreshments will be offered to all registered delegates and their companions in the lobby of the Hotel VIDAMAR Resorts Madeira (formerly Hotel CS Madeira and SEA SPA).
Welcome Reception and Banquet
A Welcome Reception by the Mayor of the city of Funchal will take place on Monday 24 June. This will occur in the City Hall, after the afternoon sessions.
The conference banquet will take place on Tuesday evening in a touristic local resort. It includes a Porto d’honnour, followed by a fantastic dinner with live music and folk show.
All delegates and registered accompanying Persons are entitled to participate in both the Welcome Reception and in the Conference Banquet. Bus transportation will be provided by the organisation to take delegates and accompanying persons back to the different hotels in the city.
Excursions and Cultural Events
