Jennifer Robinson is Professor of Human Geography at University College London. Her research work has focused on theorising the 21st century cities, through the development of a post-colonial critique of urban studies and of the methods and tactics of comparative urbanism. She is author of well-known and influential publications, from Ordinary Cities: Between Modernity and Development (Routledge, 2006) to Comparative Urbanism: Tactics for Global Urban Studies (Wiley, forthcoming in 2022).





Pierluigi Coppola, Ph.D. in Road Infrastructure and Transportation Systems, is Associate Professor of Transportation Planning at the Politecnico di Milano (Italy), and lecturer of the summer course “Modeling and Simulation of Transportation Networks” at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). His research interests include Land-Use and Transports Interactions, sustainable urban mobility and accessibility planning, travel behavior modeling and dynamic traffic assignment models. He is author of more than 100 scientific papers in journals and conference proceedings.
