GUIDELINES and PROCEDURES

  • If you intend to submit an abstract (or more) for the Congress, please do so before registering.
  • If you just want to participate as an attendee (not as author), just register ASAP.
At least one author of each accepted abstract (oral communication or poster) – the presenter –must register in the Congress (fill out the Registration Form I)
Submitted abstracts with no authors registered in the Congress, will not be included in the Congress Booklet, nor in the Symposia Book of Abstracts nor will be elegible for Proceedings.

For each registration, two accepted  abstracts/papers can be presented and included in the Book of Abstracts.

Besides the automatic email acknowledging you have submitted the registration form, further information will be sent to you later, by email, mentioning ‘registration ongoing’/payment procedures/’registration concluded’)

If you don’t receive an email, please contact us (dce@fe.up.pt).

Registration will be complete and finished only after DCE21 Organizing Committee sends you the confirmation (‘registration concluded’) email.

Please note that an unpaid registration will not be considered as a valid registration unless fully paid and confirmed.

PROCEDURES

To register, please fill:

Besides the automatic email acknowledging you have submitted the registration form, further information will be sent to you later, by email.
If you don’t receive an email in a week time, please contact us (dce@fe.up.pt).

Registration will be complete and finished only after DCE21 Organizing Committee sends you the ‘Confirmation’ email.

Please note that an unpaid registration will not be considered as a valid registration unless fully paid and confirmed.

 

CERTIFICATE

All registered participants with a paid fee and with attendance registered by the Symposium Organizing Committee, will receive a certificate.

 

FEES

At least one author of each accepted abstract (oral communication or poster) – its’ presenter – must have a registration fee paid, by May 30st, for that abstract to appear in the Congress Booklet and be included in the Symposia Books of Abstracts.

Upon payment of registration, you will receive a ‘Confirmation’ email.

Only registered authors with a paid fee will receive a certificate.

All Congress fees are stated including the VAT

Registration Fee includes: Entrance of 1 participant in the Congress, all plenary sessions and Symposium sessions, Conference Booklet and Certificate.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: In case of cancellation of registration or of the extras, a written notification should be sent to the conference e-mail (dce@fe.up.pt) with the subject ‘Cancellation’.
NOTE: Após o envio do comprovativo de pagamento, se desejar cancelar a inscrição, será apenas devolvido o valor pago retirando os overheads cobrados pela Contabilidade da FEUP e a taxa administrativa de 10% sobre o valor da devolução.

Insurance: The registration fees do not include insurance of participants against accidents, sickness, cancellation, theft, property damage or loss. Participants are advised to take out adequate personal insurance.
