The Civil Construction Section is responsible for the Constructions option of the Master's Degree in Civil Engineering and provides specialized training in the area of buildings and construction management, with particular attention to the following aspects:

• Analysis of the behaviour of buildings in the thermal, acoustic and fire domains; characterization of materials and corresponding constructive solutions; behaviour of insulated structural and non-structural materials, components or building systems; construction technologies; diagnosis and treatment of pathologies;
• Management of the construction process and its entire life cycle, mastery of the methodologies of design, development, coordination, organization of documents and project review; maintenance, management and rehabilitation; methods of analysis and quality management; technologies and information systems in construction; legislative framework.
