Work Plan

This project is divided in six development steps: state of the art revision, study and test of feature extraction algorithms, prototype application development with user interface, classification algorithms, efficiency tests and writing the dissertation report.

• State of the art revision and study and test of feature extraction algorithms — Revision and study of known algorithms and proposed work tools;
• Prototype application development with user interface — Development of an application prototype using selected image feature extraction algorithms and the proposed image capture device;
• Classification algorithms — Application of classification algorithms to classify features extracted from captured images and determine the ABO test result;
• Efficiency tests — Stress test the system and adjust the classification model;
• Writing the dissertation report — Writing the dissertation report as well as developing the final project presentation;
• Website development and updating — This is a continuous task, starting from the first week, for the development of the project website and its continuous updating.
