Ever since I was a little girl I had a very pragmatic style, a keen eye for numbers, was happy to face challenges and always surrounded by engineers - that's how, without knowing how, Engineering was born in me. And to ensure a good education, FEUP appeared as the best choice: an old school with prestige and a reputation for training great thinkers. It was necessary, then, to choose the course that would accompany me in this path: Industrial Engineering and Management appears in my life as the perfect combination between the technical component and the challenge of managing people and defining strategies, accompanied by a wide variety of job opportunities.

Over the years I have realized the great importance of this education and have seen the how valuable it is to have the ability to create engineers who work in the most diverse realities, who easily face challenges and who never give up in the search for improvements and new solutions.

I can never ignore the importance of the people around us and the experiences we live in the university - this, allied to the variety of knowledge acquired in five years turns us into very complete engineers.

FEUP and the Master of Industrial Engineering and Management opened my horizons and made me want to fly higher. I entered the world of management consulting where I participate in projects in the most diverse sectors, work with people from different cultures, solve challenges I never thought I would encounter, and, above all, continue to grow and learn more.
