I can clearly state that this was a life-altering and holistic experience, from both the academic and social point of view, which opened many doors for my future professional career.

My initial decision to study Industrial Engineering at FEUP was due to the high reputation of this engineering school that merges academic excellence, tradition, and Porto’s unique spirit. Moreover, I believed it would be an opportunity to explore an interesting combination of two fields of interest: engineering and management.

Having finished my studies, I now recall this as a fulfilling journey that certainly surpassed my best expectations. The fast-paced program is designed to balance the in-depth theory and the practical experience, fostering my critical thinking, and encouraging me to keep challenging myself and the status quo. Furthermore, the diversified range of subjects, from Logistics or Financial Management to Business Analytics, allowed me to get a wide but yet profound breadth of knowledge, which I now regard as essential to face an ever-changing and highly competitive business market.

Throughout my studies, I encountered a highly qualified teaching staff that promoted a captivating learning environment and from whom I personally received more than expected guidance and support along the way. It is worth mentioning the diversified student body by virtue of a large number of international students, promoting a multicultural learning environment, and an enriching exchange of ideas and experiences.
