DIOGO SOUSA

I joined MESG mainly because it offers a study plan that complements my academic background while I specialize in the area of service engineering and management. This master's degree is a crucial trigger for my professional career since I specialize in an area of scientific knowledge which will be a plus in the job market.

Training in Service Engineering and Management is increasingly valued in the job market as there is a trend to create services supported by innovative technologies to meet consumer expectations /behaviors. MESG offers a prestigious education since all the lecturers have a vast professional experience allowing students to have a practical and challenging learning. There is a gradual intellectual growth and our view on certain topics is becoming clearer and more evident based on scientific evidence and professional experiences. Another very interesting aspect is the fact there are students from different cultures and countries, which promotes diversity and the sharing of different values. Through MESG I had a very close contact with the job market, having even worked on real projects to be implemented in real companies. MESG gave me the ability to take a critical look at a business and developed my ability to apply techniques and methods to create/improve a service.

In the future, I hope to face challenges in the job market that will test my skills. Basically, I intend to integrate teams focused on the design and implementation of services that are increasingly innovative and capable of exceeding consumer expectations while placing the company in a strategic and differentiating position.
