Composite structures are being used successfully for a variety of applications such as spacecraft, aircraft, train and car structures, wind turbine blades, boat/ship superstructures, boat/ship hulls and many others.

The overall objective of the 15th International Conference on Composite Structures (ICCS15) is to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of the latest research and technology on all aspects of composite structures and materials, spanning the entire spectrum of research to applications in all the fields listed above.

Conference Topics

The ICCS15 accepts papers, which make an original contribution to the field of science and engineering of composite materials and structures. The non-exclusive list of conference topics includes:

//Analytical and numerical modeling
//Design and optimization
//Fracture, fatigue and damage tolerance
//Impact and energy absorption
//Processing and fabrication
//Joining and repair
//Experimental methods and characterization
//NDE and health monitoring
//New materials and materials characterization
//Environmental degradation
//Recycling and disposal

Applications and design solutions covering the full range including marine/naval, civil engineering, infrastructure and transportation, automotive, wind turbine.
