GRAETZ-PROBLEM FOR THE PTT MODEL

In this page you can download zipped files which contain data for the Graetz problem for the SPTT fluid in a channel and a pipe with constant wall temperature as well as with constant wall heat flux. The problem is solved and explained in the following paper:

PM Coelho, FT Pinho, PJ Oliveira. Thermal entry flow for a viscoelastic fluid: the Graetz problem for the PTT model. Int. J. Heat and Mass Transfer.46 (2003) 3865-3880.

The various data files contain information on the variation of the local Nusselt number, average Nusselt number, normalised bulk temperature as a function of longitudinal coordinate, Brinkman number and flow elasticity.
