Health Care service systems are increasingly complex and technology enabled. These service systems, such as the Electronic Health Record, may involve the participation of multiple organizations and multiple users in a Service Ecosystem. This evolution raises new challenges for service design and information systems architecture. Designing these health care systems requires the integration of a complex networks of stakeholders, an integrated design of the service system and service processes, and a sound information system architecture. This project focuses on the design of technology enabled health care service systems that involve a network of organizations. This project addresses two areas: the design of the service system, from the service value offering to the design and modeling of business processes and ; the design of the information system architecture that supports the service offering.
