LaIC-Acoustics

Presentation and Background

The Acoustics Laboratory has its origin in the sixties in the so called Laboratory of Acoustics and Ultrasound, created within Porto University School of Engineering, by an investment of the Institute of High Culture. In the early seventies it passes to the Center of Civil Engineering, Porto University (CECUP). In 1990 its commercial part is integrated in IC where meets a big boost anchored by investments in new equipment and modernization of others.
