Main activities and Outputs

The Acoustics Laboratory shares its objectives with the objectives of IC:

• Services in specific areas acoustic related, where the nature transcends the responsiveness of the market and/or where research methodologies are needed;
• Laboratory support to private entities involved in the implementation and verification of regulatory requirements in terms of building acoustics;
• Certification , quality assessment and acoustic performance of elements and building components;
• Research and development of new processes and test methods;
• Knowledge dissemination to support training ​​in building acoustics field of knowledge.
