TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION Delegates can fly directly to Funchal from most of the european airport platforms (Frankfurt, Heathrow, Gatwick, Orly, Charles-de-Gaulle, Amsterdam, Madrid, Brussels) and from many other cities in Europe and in the world. The transfer time from Madeira International Airport to the City Centre, where the main Hotels are located, is around 20 minutes by bus or 15 minutes by taxi. TAP-Air Portugal is the official Portuguese airline, but there is a large number of charters and low cost carriers flying to Funchal from all over Europe. |
