Foreign stereographers / publishers - Keystone Portugal 60-card set (variants)

Following the acquisition of Underwood & Underwood's negatives, Keystone continued to produce their boxed sets, but now under their own trade name. The images are basically the same as in the earlier sets, but a few variants are known, listed under this category ("variant" in relation to the 60 cards listed in this site for the U&U set). The type of card mount is typical of Keystone as illustrated below:

Grey curved card mount with round-corner images. Printed vertically on the left: "Keystone View Company - Manufacturers,  [copyright information], made in U.S.A., Publishers". Printed vertically on the right: "Meadville, Pa., New York, N. Y., - Chicago, Ill., London, England." The card number indicating its position in the set is written horizontally on top centre. The negative reference number and the caption are printed horizontally on the lower right. It is interesting to refer that this view (of Lisbon) above was also published as a B. W. Kilburn card (#15254). This is not surprising, since Keystone acquired the Kilburn's negatives. However, there's no indication of such provenance in the negative reference number (or elsewhere in this card), which would come as a surprise to Darrah, who believed that "When an old negative purchased from another company was activated, a new Keystone number was assigned to it in regular sequence. So far as I am aware, the original source is always given (V = Underwood, W = White, etc.)" [Darrah 1997, p. 50].

The "2" on top seems to indicate that this card was part of the 60-card set (the U&U card for this position has the image shown below), which apparently indicates that even Keystone sets may sometimes show different images for the same number.
