Two Vacancies Open for Students in our FC Portugal Simulation Team - RoboCup!

What is FC Portugal?

FC Portugal is a RoboCup Simulation League team that became RoboCup 2000 European Champion in Amsterdam and RoboCup 2000 World Champion in Melbourne. FC Portugal was developed at LIACC (NIADR) / University of Porto and IEETA / University of Aveiro. This project started in February 2000.

Who is involved in FC Portugal?

Myself and Nuno Lau (University of Aveiro). Other researcher (Luis Seabra Lopes) was also involved in the beginning of the project. FC Portugal was constructed mainly in LIACC - University of Porto and IEETA - University of Aveiro laboratories. Some students (Claudio and Johnny) are now involved in our team too.

What titles has the team Won?

FC Portugal won the Euro RoboCup (Amsterdam), scoring 86 goals without conceding a single goal! Take a look at the Amsterdam Championship results or browse the Amsterdam European Championship official web pages!

FC Portugal won RoboCup 2000 (Melbourne), scoring 94 goals without conceding a single goal! Take a look at the Melbourne RoboCup 2000 results or browse the Melbourne Championship official pages.

FC Portugal also won the German Open 2001 and RoboCup 2002 Coach Competition.
