The aim of the workshop New Horizons on Optimal Control 2014 is to promote, encourage, and forge new collaborations and understanding among researchers working on optimal control and optimization.
This workshop, held in the beautiful seaside city of Cascais, 25 kms away from Lisbon, will be an opportunity for all the participants to interact, discuss new challenges and the latest developments in the field and foster new research collaborations.
There will be 27 invited speakers presenting talks of 40 minutes on various aspects of optimal control.
This workshop is organized by the Portuguese FCT Project OCHERA, and the European ITN SADCO. It has the support of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto.
New There will be a Poster Session during the Workshop.
We invite all, special young researchers, to present their work as a poster this workshop. This poster session is open to all although priority will be given to OCHERA young researchers and SADCO fellows.
Those who wish to present their work in the poster format should send an e.mail to [email protected] before July 31, 2014 with ( 1) title (2) authors and affiliation 3) short abstract
Confirmation of acceptance will take less than two weeks.
