PREDICTED TOPIC OF KEY NOTE: MULTI-SPAN EXTRADOSED BRIDGES IN JAPAN

In Japan, there are some multi-span extradosed bridges. Structural features of some examples will be shown. Furthermore, a new solution of the extradosed bridge which can extend the span around 500m will be proposed. The new technology, butterfly web. is used to extend its span length. Structural behavior of a multi-span long extradosed bridge including results of wind tunnel tests will be discussed.
