The DSIE'13 (Doctoral Symposium in Informatics Engineering) is the 8^th edition of a series of annual symposiums witch started in 2005. The event took place at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) between the 24^th and 25^th January, 2013. This symposium happens has part of "Methodologies for Scientific Research" which is one of the courses of the 8^th edition of the Doctoral Program in Informatics Engineering held at FEUP.
