Com o avançar da Pandemia COVID-19, percebemos que esta guerra com um inimigo invisível iniciada este ano irá manter-se nos próximos tempos. A crise sanitária deu origem a uma crise económica e social e muitos viram os seus rendimentos afetados com a paragem de vários setores de atividade, assim como os que procuravam emprego perceberam que a sua oportunidade poderia demorar um pouco mais a chegar.
Por isso, a comunidade FEUP, uma vez mais, não se mostra indiferente a quem mais precisa e, numa tentativa de ajudar quem possa estar a passar um momento mais complicado dentro da nossa comunidade, renova a divulgação da iniciativa “Armário Solidário”. Da comunidade para a comunidade, consiste na disponibilização de bens alimentares e de higiene, através de um armário de acesso livre, no qual todos poderão contribuir para que nada falte. O principal objetivo é facilitar ajuda a quem possa estar a viver uma situação de fragilidade imediata.
O armário está situado no espaço perto do bengaleiro, debaixo do auditório, na passagem para as instalações sanitárias – entrada principal da FEUP, sempre em frente em direção ao auditório e do lado esquerdo em direção ao bengaleiro/instalações sanitárias.
Sempre que o armário estiver cheio, agradecemos que deixem os bens no Infodesk (o Comissariado de Responsabilidade Social fará a reposição dos bens).
Esta ação decorrerá até se ultrapassar a situação de crise que atualmente atravessamos.
Para que esta iniciativa possa continuar a alcançar o sucesso, contamos com a ajuda de todos e com uma FEUP solidária que percebe claramente que é o momento de agir.

Dear Members of the FEUP Community,
As the COVID-19 Pandemic goes on, we realized that this war with an invisible enemy that has started this year will continue for some time to come. The health crisis led to an economic and social crisis, and many have seen their incomes affected by the halt in various sectors of activity, as well as those seeking employment have realized that their opportunity could take a little longer to arrive.
For this reason, the FEUP community, once again, does not remain indifferent to those who need it the most and, in an attempt to help those who may be spending a more complicated time within our community, we are promoting “Armário Solidário” initiative. From the community to the community, the initiative consists of providing food and hygiene goods, through a free access cabinet, to which everyone can contribute so that nothing lacks. The main purpose is to help anyone who may be experiencing a situation of financial vulnerability.
The cabinet is located in the space next to the cloakroom, under the auditorium, on the passage to the sanitary facilities – FEUP’s main entrance, straight ahead towards the auditorium, left side towards the cloakroom / sanitary facilities.
Whenever the cabinet is full, we appreciate that you leave the goods at Infodesk (the Social Responsibility Commissioner will replenish the cabinet).
This action will continue until the current crisis situation is overcome.
In order for this initiative to continue to be successful, we are counting on the help of all and on a supportive FEUP that clearly understands that it is the time to act.
