VipIMAGE 2017 is going to be held at AXIS VERMAR CONFERENCE & BEACH HOTEL - Póvoa de Varzim Hotel

The Axis Vermar Conference & Beach Hotel is a 4 star hotel located on the beach in Póvoa de Varzim, only 30 Km from the international airport and 37 Km from the centre of Porto.

Special conditions were arranged for the VipIMAGE 2017 participants.

THEMATIC SESSIONS

Proposals to organize Thematic Sessions under the auspicious of VipIMAGE 2017 are welcome.

The organizers of the selected thematic sessions will be included in the conference scientific committee and will have a reduced registration fee. They will be responsible for the dissemination of their thematic session, may invite expertise researchers to have invited keynotes during their session and will participate in the review process of the submitted contributions.

Proposals for Thematic Sessions under the auspicious of VipIMAGE 2017 should be submitted by email to the conference co-chairs (tavares@fe.up.pt, rnatal@fe.up.pt) until February 28, 2017.

PUBLICATIONS

PROCEEDINGS
The proceedings book will be published by Springer under the book series "Lecture Notes in Computational Vision and Biomechanics" and indexed by Elsevier Scopus.

JOURNAL SPECIAL ISSUE:
A special issue of the Taylor & Francis international journal “Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering: Imaging & Visualization”, indexed in ISI Thomson Reuters, Elsevier Scopus and dblp, will be published. All authors of works presented in VipIMAGE 2017 will be invited to submit an extended version to the special issue.
