I received the B.S and M.Sc. degrees from Federal University of Para – Brazil, in 1990, and 1994 respectively, all in Electrical Engineering. Since 1995, I have been a Researcher of the Supervision and Control Engineering Group (NESC) at Federal University of Para (UFPA). I have been a faculty’s member of Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Federal University of Para, since 1998. 

 

At present I am a PhD student at School of Engineering – University of  Porto - Portugal and I am working at INESC Porto in the Telecommunications and Multimedia Unit. My Advisor is Professor José António Ruela Simões Fernandes and my main research topics are Universal Mobile Telecommunications Systems (UMTS) , Quality of Services (QoS) and Radio Resource Management Algorithms (RRM).
