The 9th International Conference on Arch Bridges (ARCH 2019) will be held on October 2 to 4, 2019, at the campus of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (FEUP) in Porto, Portugal.
ARCH 2019 is addressed to to all those who deal with arch bridge structures, namely scientists, designers, technicians, stakeholders and contractors, seeking for related knowledge, experience and specialized information exchange and diffusion. Topics cover arch structures’ related issues, namely technical, scientific, historical, social and cultural, addressing heritage and contemporary arch bridges as well as future perspectives and challenges.
Under the theme “Arch Bridges – Natural beauty for all time“ and involving some of the most active interveners in the area from all over the world in the Scientific Committee, ARCH 2019 aims at fostering the best possible conditions for a fruitful exchange of ideas and experiences as well as the creation of future networking initiatives.
