BIN@TALLINN 2024 mid-term event is embedded in the activities of the EIT HEI Initiative project DEEP INVENTHEI – INnoVation and ENTrepreneurship in HEIs and of the international open innovation platform Business & Innovation Network (BIN@). In addition to expected audience coming from the local Estonian innovation ecosystem, the event also counts with the participation of representatives from various universities and companies from the UK, Romania, Portugal, Ukraine, Czechia, Poland and Sweden.

BIN@TALLINN 2024 offers a venue for researchers, academics, entrepreneurs and other stakeholders to exchange knowledge, ideas and experiences. The event is also open for students interested in entrepreneurship and technological innovation topics.

This one-and-a-half day event holds in store keynote speeches, panel discussions (Action Tanks) and examples of several startup journeys, through which participants will gain valuable insights on developing vibrant innovation ecosystems and the key role of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in it. The event starts by contextualising the local innovation ecosystem of Estonia, passing through a comparative approach to different paths to choose from, available in different countries, in order to accelerate R&D to successful businesses. There are also other gripping speeches and panels on circular innovation, tech transfer, entrepreneurship education, innovation in product and service design, challenge-based learning and innovation-driven research as well as inspiring startup stories.

You can find a DETAILED PROGRAMME here below. Note, however, that the agenda is still subject to minor adjustments and updates.
