Scientific Meeting

The scientific meeting takes place together with the robotics festival and enables researchers to present their scientific work related to robotics. The scientific meeting main topics are (although its scope is not limited to these topics):
• Artificial Intelligence Applied to Robotics
• Robot’s Architectures, Locomotion and Manipulation Systems
• Computer Vision, Sensors and Sensor Integration
• Mobile Robots Self-Localization, Navigation and Control
• Cooperative Robotics and Multi-Agent Systems
• Learning and Adaptative Systems
• Planning, Reasoning and Simulation in Robotics
• Real-Time Systems
• Mission Development Systems
• Mobile Robotics Applications
Paper submission describing original, high quality work relevant to the topics mentioned above is requested. Work related with participating robots and/or festival demonstrations is highly encouraged. Papers describing industrial or commercial robotics applications, in particular mobile robotics applications, are also welcome.

Submission

Papers must be written in English language and may not exceed 8 pages following IFAC – Int. Federation of Automatic Control http://www.elsevier.com/locate/ifac format. Papers must be sent to the following email address: [email protected] in PDF or PostScript format. Accepted papers will be published in the conference proceedings (ISBN 972-752-066-9).

Student Session

The scientific meeting includes a session for students, where young researchers may present their scientific work. Paper format for this session is the same as for the main session. Accepted Papers will be published in a CD-Rom delivered to the delegates together with the conference proceedings.
