The Symposium of Civil Engineering and Spatial Planning is part of the 4th Doctoral Congress  Engineering (DCE21) held on the 28th and 29th of June 2021 at the Faculty of Engineering University of Porto (FEUP), Portugal (online).

The Department of Civil Engineering at FEUP hosts education and research in a variety of scientific fields across its eight sections, and thus welcomes submissions on several different topics under the short paper and poster formats. These topics include building construction, geotechnics, hydraulics, materials and construction, spatial planning, structures, transport infrastructures, transport planning and territory, and any related multidisciplinary or transversal areas of study.

This Symposium is the responsibility of the Doctoral Program in Civil Engineering and Doctoral Program in Spatial Planning, which are pleased to invite their PhD students, as well as all the MSc students assigned to the Department of Civil Engineering, to participate. Likewise, submissions from other doctoral and master programs, institutions and entities within the scope of the Symposium are welcome.
