SOCIAL PROGRAM

In parallel with the Technical and Scientific Program, a full range of social activities will be offered to Delegates and Accompanying Persons during all days of the Conference. Most of these will be organised by an experienced local travel agency associated with the IRF2020 conference.

Early-Bird Reception

The Conference Secretariat will be open on Sunday evening (06 September), from 17:00 to 19:30, for early registration and delivery of documentation to delegates. During this period, an Early-Bird Reception with drinks and refreshments will be offered to all registered delegates and their companions in the lobby of the Vidamar Hotel.

Welcome Dinner

A Welcome Dinner will take place on Monday 07 September. This will occur in the Vidamar Restaurant, after the afternoon sessions. All delegates and registered Accompanying Persons are kindly invited to participate in this event.

Conference Banquet

The conference banquet will be held on Tuesday evening, 08 September 2020, in Restaurant Bahia � Casino of Madeira, on the top of a circular building with a magnificent panoramic view over Funchal, at walking distance from most of the recommended hotels. All delegates and registered Accompanying Persons are entitled to participate in the Banquet.

Excursions and Tours

A number of excursions, tours and cultural events will be available for participants and accompanying persons in Funchal and other places in the island. Instructions for booking the tours of your choice will be available in due time.
