Business & Innovation Network @ FEUP

First international meeting “Business & Innovation Network @ FEUP

At FEUP on November 10th, 11th and 12th 2010.

BIN@FEUP aims to bring together a wide range of national and international partners with different yet complementary interests on business and innovation themes. We expect to have a big participation of tech-based companies (start-ups) and many other stakeholders of the Innovation process: Business Incubators; Investors; Business Consultants; Research Groups; Technology Parks; and many others…

BIN@FEUP will include:

Tech-based Start-up Exhibition
The tech-based start-ups will have the opportunity to be present with an Exhibition booth, which offers the perfect spot for these companies to promote their expertise, their products and their projects, to interact with the other partners and with the academic and scientific community and to do business.

Speed Rounds 4 Business
These are 15 minute sessions (Quick 10 min presentation & 5 min Q&A) in which institutions can present their core business, a specific activity or project. Institutions have then the opportunity to make themselves known with the main goal of making new contacts, developing business opportunities and future partnerships.

Think Tank Sessions
Our goals are to bring about a culture change in terms of working across disciplines and sharing knowledge and experience, and to foster the creation of new interdisciplinary teams who focus on the proposed themes under the areas of ICT, Bio Engineering, Transports and Mobility, Health and Ambient Assisted Living, Nano Engineering, Energy, Advanced Manufacturing, Environment, Robotics and Electronics.
