Common Use Equipment

- Laboratory 1 - Computer Centre of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Management of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto;

- Laboratory 2 - Computer Aided Design Laboratory of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Management of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto;

- Laboratory 3 - Computer Centre Prof. Correia de Araújo (CICA), of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto

 - Laboratory 4 - Vibrations Laboratory - (laboratory equipment acquired with funds from research project “Non-linear dynamic analysis of structures by the hierarchical finite element and experimental methods.” Contract sponsor: Science and Technology Foundation, MCT, Portugal; grant FEDER POCTI/1999/EME/32641);

Laboratory equipment:

- Multi-analyser system Pulse, Bruel & Kjäer - This is a multi-channel spectral analyzer, that generates the signal sent to the shaker, receives the signals from the transducers and carries out digital signal processing, estimating the Fourier Transforms and the Spectral Densities. It is used in conjunction with a PC also acquired with funding from the above mentioned project.

- Breadboard Newport, model NRC-M-EG-34-2 - This board is necessary to attach the different experimental set-ups.

 - 2 Pentium III 800 MHz/128 RAM/20GB, 1 HP Desk Jet 1220C
