The general objectives of the Doctoral Program in Occupational Safety and Health are:

-To develop the ability to observe and critically analyse OHS issues in a sustainable manner, taking account of the cultural, social, economic and political environment;

-To develop the ability to identify, assess and formulate OHS issues;

-To develop the ability to intervene for effective cultural, social, economic and political change;

-To acquire advanced knowledge on the operationalisation of the different research paradigms within a critical and reflective attitude towards the available information;

-To develop a working capacity within multidisciplinary and multicultural teams;

-To train senior managers with the leadership skills and abilities required to develop, coordinate and control prevention and protection activities against occupational risks in the various business sectors;

-To develop leadership abilities in scientific research in the field of occupational health & safety.
