“More efficient and resilient energy systems require flexible, distributed, autonomous, and cost-effective architectures for the electric energy supply systems.

The project goal is to research, design, implement, test and validate solutions conducting to modern energy systems for smart and microgrids. It gives emphasis to the conversion of primary energy sources, including storage, into flexible electrical energy, in terms of being locally consumed or injected into the main electric grid. Supported by state-of-the-art ICT solutions, the project is focused at obtaining technological innovations and products.
