Plan Page was updated to the reflect the current plan status.

Updated Web Page - W17

Plan page was updated. New reports were added to resources page. This reports were obtained with the developed tool, with the intent to provide waveforms to the thesis document. Please find them under: Resources Page

Added Signal Analysis Reports

The current thesis has reached an important milestone, now it's possible to create reports from data captured on the lab and compare that results with the ones obtained trough the signal analysis tool.

New Webpage Logo

The webpage splash image should be related with the work under development. The previous image was related with the chip manufacturing. The intent of this work is to provide tools to speed up the development of the new chips, being more related with signal analysis.
The best way to have a picture more related with the tool under development, is to use the "data" provided by the tool. A few pictures were captured and then processed with appropriated software resulting on this amazing image that you can see on the top of the page.
I would like to give a special thank you to Ant�nio Rocha for his hard work during this process, he was the person that make this image possible, thanks Ant�nio.

Updated Web Page with W10 status

In order to provide a more friendly description of the current status a new entry was added to Resources Page Resources Page - Python Software. The entry added provides a link to a zip file containing a few plots extracted from the software that is being developed. Plan page was also updated with the week 10 status

Added Extract Jitter Document

Document describing the software used to create extract jitter tool. This document also describes how the software was implemented and has a comparison between expected and obtained values. The document can be found under Resources page or by clicking on this link: jitter_tool.pdf. Plan page was updated with the work done over weeks 4 and 5.

Jitter Analysis document added

Signal integrity on current designs demands new analysis of jitter. Jitter Analysis document describes in detail the different jitter types and the different measurement techniques that can be used on the jitter characterization.

Added Demonstration Video

The intent of this video is to present the web page to the end users. Through this video the user will understand how the web page is divided and what is the process to update the "News" page.

Automatic News Web Page Insertion

The addition of new posts on the "News" page is now easier. The Web Page developer has created a php page containing a set of input forms to grab the necessary information. The developer has the possibility to see how the post will appear prior to the final submission.

The php page allows the developer to select between draft mode and submission mode, it is also possible to add a new RSS feed automatically. The creation of new RSS feeds is done by marking the "Add RSS feed" button.

The addition of news to the web page can grab to much time from the Web Page developer, this method will allow the developer to be focused on core tasks, like writing the thesis, developing the software...
