COTEC MUDA Dissertation Competition 2015 (April 2016)

COTEC MUDA Prize for the Best Dissertation in the area of Innovation and Entrepreneurship received 75 applications from 57 different programs and from 26 universities in Portugal. Out of these, 3 dissertation from MIETE students were ranked among the TOP10. The dissertation by Poliana Pires, although not the winner, was ranked among the TOP 3.

• “A MULTIDIMENSIONAL FRAMEWORK TO IMPROVE KNOWLEDGE FLOW AND INNOVATION PROCESS AT THE FUZZY FRONT-END: A CASE STUDY IN A BRAZILIAN TECHNOLOGY-BASED FIRM” de Poliana Pires (read dissertation (EN), watch video presentation (PT))
• “O PAPEL DA CRIATIVIDADE E DO DESIGN THINKING NA INOVAÇÃO” de Avelino Moreira (read dissertation here (PT), watch video presentation (PT))
• “DISENTANGLING THE FUZZY FRONT-END: AN INTEGRATIVE LITERATURE REVIEW” de Ludovicus Eliens (read dissertation here (EN)). Ludovicus Eliens was not able to attend the final pitch event.

Quatro estudantes da Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade do Porto (FBAUP)e do MIETE (Mestrado em Inovação e Empreendedorismo Tecnológico), uma parceria entre a Faculdade de Economia (FEP) e a Faculdade de Engenharia (FEUP), viram as suas dissertações de mestrado serem classificadas entre as 10 melhores candidatas à primeira edição do Prémio MUDA, um galardão criado pela COTEC Portugal, em parceria com a EVERIS, para distinguir a “Melhor Tese em Inovação ou em Empreendedorismo” apresentada nos anos letivos 2013/14 e 2014/15, no âmbito de programas de mestrado desenvolvidos em instituições de ensino superior portuguesas.
